  I think for Carousel ... you can only go when it's not crowded?

  Apparently AV and Juice had good experiences there but I went on a weekend on woo boy...I was disappointed

  It was horrible experience ..

  food is lousy..

  I was seriously against going to a restaurant on Mother's Day.... as Bear has said, restaurants would be more willing to sacrifice quality for the sake of quantity on occasions like that.

  But my sis had already planned everything nicely..... it just wouldn't be nice to say no...

  the XO Fish Soup one at West Coast was terrible last mom's day... a week after that, i went to try again, it was back to normal...

  well father's day is next month - suggest you consider going a week before or after the event. how about giving that place fatum was talking about a try - Line at shang.

  Strangely, the food at Kian Seng was good yesterday

  My mum loved the food and was talking about bringing my uncle and cousin there. Haha

  My brother celebrated with his future mom-in-law yesterday at Long Beach :P He said it was expensive n the food suxed

  Aquamarine? Oh dear, oh dear. I don't want to go back. The desserts were too sweet, the soups too salty, and the beef, lamb and duck were often chewy. The only good things that I recall were the chawanmushi and the cheese platter.

  Add No Sighboard to it too...

  Just last month TX and I went there with our HK friend.....but it was the one at the Esplanade and it was really really average (reason we went there coz she insisted on having air-con)
