  I never have peking duck in Singapore before so I don't really know how it's served over there.  Over here in Oz, you get the skin and some meat too wrapped in the pastry.

  Do you only get skin when eating Peking duck in Singapore?

  There are really 2 versions

  Just the skin

  Or skin with a silver of meat

  TBH I think with just the skin just taste better...and just the skin is the much more common version too

  most places is just skn or skin+minute traces of meat - KL, HK etc

  Oz is not so bad.  We do get meat especially one that I usually go for peking duck.  Many people of you might think that's not the traditional peking duck but I love it!  Yum....

  Hehehe to each his own :)

  For me I prefer just the skin coz I feel that the meat 'dilutes' the intense flavour and marrs the crunch of the crispy skin. The bite is different with meat in it

  I'm not much of a trekkie but I enjoyed the show. In fact, even with hugh jackman jumping off the waterfall naked, I prefer star trek to wolverine.
