Love/Hate your cellphone?

I have the Blackberry Pearl. OMG, the learning curve is steep on this one. The sales person did warn me but I thought, how bad could it be? Haiz. I've had the thing for 3 months now and I'm still learning the shortcuts, etc. When I compose an SMS, the thing like to prompt and second guess what word you're typing. It's so irritating!
My 2 year contract was up and we decided to switch providers because I wanted to lower my bill and get GSM phones. (Yes CDMA still exists here in the States.) I only chose this model because the damn thing was free. Grrr.

3 months is kinda a lot
i'm using SE K850i
love it
although the top three touch buttons are gay

im still ok with my cellphone, nokia 3120classic. works fine, camera is ok for outdoor pics, and is basically a pretty good 3G phone.
i'm going to change phone soon though, either an iphone or nokia 5800cwm.

i thought CDMA was the more advanced technology?

My previous providers only had CDMA. Can't send/receive overseas calls which irritated me. Waited for 2 whole years for my contract to expire to get on the GSM network with another provider.

Erm most of the time I don't learn short cuts. Just navigate there. And I think you should be able to turn off the predictive inputs.

You guys have a much different selection there, more advanced too, I think? The States is sooo backwards when it comes to cellphones. What phone do you currently have? Do they have the model I have in Sg?

my phone was available in US long before it came to singapore. it's the google phone (G1). Singapore is the one that's retarded and backward............

after one PDA phone, i hopped back to normal phones.
my PDA is now my computer.
