next week on a friday, zora and i will be going to Chinatown to makan the claypot rice and also the fish head...
it's the big head carp head.. they steam it bunch of different ways.. black bean, tau cheo, HK style, hot sauce... one of the stalls has "fish intestines with bittergourd"
around the corner, they have pork jelly too..
mostly it's for the claypot rice which people may have to wait up to 1 1/2 hours for as they make it from scratch...

1 1/2 hours???? I'll be full by then
that's what they told us when we went..
bittergourd.. can ask them to cook other ways.. they're all zhi char stalls so they can improvise..
their fish noodles also look good... but beware those who are not used to freshwater fish.. slightly "muddy" taste as the fish are from ponds...
