  from the front it's New Bridge Centre..

  

  junction of New Bridge Road and Smith Street

  from what i remember, the basement of the market is the wet market, the ground floor sells sundry goods and the 1st floor is the hawker centre.. go to the 1st floor..

  back..

  ah lau didn't bring his toyboys..

  and he got lost...

  ferfer was lost too... so we ate all the "gross food" before she turned up..

  gluttons (in order of appearance):

  • av
  • 7-11
  • bear & zora
  • ah lau
  • ferfer
    

  we ordered:

  • claypot rice (1 big and 1 small)
  • crystal skin pau (which was basically crappy mini-soong kueh)
  • steamed shark
  • pork jelly
  • fish guts in bittergourd
  • big head carp head in tau cheo
  • 2 bowls of chicken feet & black bean soup
    

  av had a bak zhang before which he regretted after 

  and way too much assorted drinks coz it was hotter than hell...

  after that we went to a dessert shop which was more interested in closing at 9:30pm than serving customers.. but it was good.. we had:

  • durian shaved ice
  • peanut shaved ice
  • egg pudding with ginger
  • walnut paste

  all which was wolfed down because they wanted to close..

  then we went to waraku at katong coz ferfer wanted to eat and drink some more.. so we had:

  • fried shrimp
  • bacon-covered quail eggs
  • hi-chu with calpis
  • hi-chu with plum
  • yuzu wine

  it was so hot the management gave us iced bottled water...

  lots to eat and drink for the night..

  next could be the chinatown frog porridge with kong pao frog.. and other pig innards porridge... with raw fish!

  Food looks good.

  Too bad I was having stomach flu.

  I ended up eating some crappy Mixed rice with two cans of coca cola with salt at junction of Geylang lor 25 kopitiam where they were doing road works at the side.

  Coudnt even finish the food.  I think I only took 3 moutful of each dish.  Fried longbeans with tofu cubes, stir fried cucumbers with eggs & salted veggies with sliced pork.
