there is a superfamous bar/pub below ocbc centre .. happy hours, you get free mini wagyu burgers ..
not too sure whether they still got that now ...
last i went was like more than 1 year back.
yours is 14 winters ago.. mine is 4
i think it'll probably be in that state by the time it reaches 14.. but it'll never see it coz it'll be scrap by then...
wonder what i'll get to replace it..
the current Honda Fit/Jazz looks pretty good

It's been though 14 winters worth of salt-coated roads; the wheel arches are all corroded through and there's massive rusting on the underside of the chassis. I can actually hear rust flakes fall off the car when I slam the door in the quiet of my garage, and have to sweep the flakes out onto the driveway every so often to prevent them from staining the concrete floor.
The car still runs fine, though.
but will there be a safety issue?? if rust flakes fall off .. sooner or later, you won't have much of a car left!

remember my C$900 lau pok chia in pluto ? the plymouth acclaim ? ... more than a quarter million kilometers on it .... the engine block leaked, the power steering fluid reservior leaked, the rear shocks were gone, it bleeched black smoke, and it left a stain on the floor everywhere I parked .... hell, even the brand went extinct ...

the new ones, the inside seems roomier than mine...
smaller engine but it's okay.. it has much better mileage than my current car

Yah, but on the positive side, the car's fuel economy keeps improving because it gets progressively lighter with all the rust falling off.

corrosion (and dirt), would increase drag and decrease fuel economy you know ....
low speeds would negate the drag and all that..
I thought usually guy loves their car so much that they'll try to treasure their car ..
but it seems otherwise for club30s guys..

Michelle??? Do you miss her? I remember you waxing poetic about her "charms" back when you had her.
We're in for some massive changes in the US auto industry, what with Chrysler and GM declaring bankruptcy. Ya know, they wouldn't be in such straits if they manufactured products that people actually wanted to buy. I have absolutely no sympathy for them now.
i had almost 8 hours of sleep last night!!!!!!!!!!!
woohoooooooo!!!
so, why am i still so tired?

Corrosion holes in body = improved cabin ventilation. I'm sure I can turn that into a selling point when it comes time to dump the beater!

I had like just almost 6 hours of sleep for the past couple of weeks...
i'm quite tired ......
cars in singapore are black holes for your money with the fringe benefit of being able to transport you in relative comfort and privacy from point A to point B from time to time .....
and I shall not go on about the increasingly bad habits of local drivers .... for some people, the signaling spokes seem to be a vestigal mechanism behind the steering wheels.

Still jet-lagged after all this while??

I sold her for $150 to a 40 yr old single parent who had to use it to get to the baby sitters and her waitressing job .....
but I heard that the power steering went kaput after a week ....
I didn't know if she developed GI jane arms after that, or she dumped it at buck's junkyard ...

this is the only way to remove all the money grabbing CEOs . otherwise all the resuce aids will end up as bonuses to them

Oh, you can be sure that the bankruptcy judges will be keeping very close eyes on what the executives of both companies will be paying themselves while they undergo Chapter 11 reorganization.

Ah, to be young again....
It usually takes my body a full week to adjust to the local time zone on my trips to Singapore. The sweltering heat and oppressive humidity don't help with the adaptation process either.
today gotch 4D or not huh ? ....
maybe I should go line up ....buy lau pa's car plate .....
maybe if strike liao .... no need to break kitty ....
ok, time to do something productive .....
