I felt that way too when I was in SG last year.The CNA article mentions that the fertility rate amongst native Singaporeans currently stands at 1.28. Seems like the true-blue native Singaporean is indeed a dying breed...

When I was growing up in SG, my mom would occasionally fry up some Spam, cut it into chunks and throw them into plain porridge as a quick meal. Ah, the good old days...
