jjsalsa; jitterbugs; xenbar; ymca?
Or you could just go down to Union Square at Amara Hotel Tanjong Pagar to take a look and look thru the brochures there. Or ask the folks dancing there which school they learn from and go from there.

They differ.
You should just check out their websites for the fees and the class start dates to decide for yourself which school is convenient for you in terms of location, timing and budget.
I had fun at salsa beginner class yesterday.
The boys were all trying to get their basics right, and we were doing Cross Body Leads with turns & the new side step with hip roll for the ladies.
It was blardy hilarious as the girls are turned, turned and turned while the boys were all trying to get their hands, feet, shoulders and heads to co-ordinate.
Most of the girls were turned into pretzels as the guys try to grabbled with how their hand signals and feet is not co-operating.
We laughed laughed and laughed so hard in class! And I was sweating.
My body was kinda still stucked at the Beginners levels and it took some rehearsal for me to try out some intermediate moves after so long a time I never used them. Though technically, those moves are considered beginners at other dance schools, but its still fun when people are willing to do things not exactly to a class schedule.
So anyone actually started or re-join any of the salsa class so far? itis on the 6th page liao leh....
In case anyone does, do give me a pm coz i am getting bore with my life once more.... and a little bit of salsa each week might just be the answer to it.....

Tues nite, my classmates are going to be in Union Square, Amara Hotel to hopefully practise and maybe get to know each other better.
We hopefully can encourage each other for the Intermediate Class.
Want to drop by?

Union Square is a disco pub of sorts. So you might be able to bring your friend along, even if its just there to watch, drink beer & play crappy pool. NTUC members entry fee is $6.50/- and I hear its free entry before 9pm.
My classmates are all beginners too. So you might find yourself abel to blend in well.
And I have dinner appointments on Tue too. Will be there late.
