Just got back from the zoo.
Good experience, but the admission fees were.... ugh. $23 per person?!?!?

$23???? Way too steep! Seems like they're engaged in pricing themselves away from mass/public visitation!

Tourism here is soooo expensive. Even getting the tri-park ticket still works out to $15 each for the zoo, Night Safari and Bird Park.

No logic to entrance fees. Which why I love London and the European museums - FOC. Most of them anyway.

Heavy...One is on irrationality, and the other on how globalisation should be done.
The irrationality one is a really interesting book and is supposed to be a real classic as far as behavioral science is concerned. It shows everyone as irrational beings who instead of making random errors in judgement, actually make systematic errors with patterns as far as decision-making is concerned.

And then I saw the one on irrationality. Which well, is related to economics since it leads to asymmetric/imperfect information.

days back in ST, there's tis aritcle of a poly grad ger finally getting her NUS degree after 5 yrs graduating from poly. Apparently she had to work for 2 yrs because the uni refused to accept her
