My mum thought the govt is nuts. Says that even with english used as the medium, the english standard already so bad, no need to talk about removing english as the medium.

I thought the argument about the culture being diluted made sense....looking at ourselves.
But the typical M'sian's command of english is already not very good and they are doing this now...

and somemore they're saying we ditched Mother Tongue for English.
Thing is, we did it for economic reasons and still we're learning our Mother Tongue though it's like slightly above the Basic level

but on that note, Thai Central at chun tin road serves pretty decent thai food. Just had dinner there tonight. One of the more interesting dishes is the otak otak cooked in whole coconut.

not too sure about that...we had 50 people working from home about 2 weeks back and another 12 in the KL office last week. plus as a precautionary measure, they disinfected the whole building. talk about taking things too far.
