Actually, I love Melbourne. And truth be told, I love my apartment here, and I've come to find Melbourne charming and I don't really feel compelled to head home, especially not since I fell so ill with flu the last time I returned home! And argh, because I fell so ill, I vomitted twice on the flight home and suffered the next three months here with a horrible gastric flu and heartburn that I've never experienced before! After that, every bloody winter, I experience bad indigestion and gastric reflux! Guess why I ain't exactly jumping on the next flight home?

I was at Orchard Road yesterday.... there was one really long queue of customers waiting to enter that LV shop.
Seriously, what's so friggin' good about a $1000 LV handbag that it beats my $65 Vertikal backpack?
Fudgieeeeeeee!! LTNS!!!
Beats me! I have no interest in designer goods.
But hmm... kitchen gadgets, utensils, cookbooks and scientific mags ... now, those turn me on!

what's the use? they only fine SMRT tiny amounts. Its actually cheaper for SMRT to keep paying the "fines" than to improve its service.
honest, e new shopping malls aren't nothing heartland

to think of it, their buses and taxi aren't making profits either.
to be honest, SMRT has been trying to withdraw bus svs but of course got rejected by PTC.. 178, 852, 985 been applied for withdrawn or route shortening making e route useless

Actually, there ARE more and more Singaporeans here!
Public transport here is worse. I'm already thinking that if I have to work during the heat wave, I'll just have to temporarily move to some hostel nearer my workplace because the trains are going to stop operating AGAIN and public transport will come to a horrific standstill.
Trust me, things in Singapore are still much more efficient. The horrors I've had to endure here!

thing is, SBS has been adding buses and trying to increase number of bus svs.. those ppl staying at SMRT's turf i.e. Yishun, Bt Panjang suay
you know buses gotta pay ERP? some in 1 trip could end up paying $10 in e morning.. works out to be 10 - 12 cents per passenger

Eh... someone needs to tell the Victorian Govt that too! They have accepted way more migrants than the infrastructure can support. Hell, we may someday end up with water rationing!
I remember taking a shower back in Singapore without fretting over water usage. So shiok!
