  actually hor, if you have no idea what to bring .... pakat together and pool the money to get an item lor .....

  that way we'll avoid redundancies and have more of what people like ........

  standard items: beer, non-alcoholic drinks, BBQ stuff like prawns, mussels, wings, meat, beehoon, dessert etc .....

  I'll probably get the satay again, since it's been so popular .... and then my folk's got a lobang for salmon ... one whole salmon only 30 bucks .....

  hmm.. $30 a salmon..

  makes me wanna get one, slather it with butter and herbs, wrap it up in aluminium foil and then slow-roast it

  dun fry so much la.. there are plenty of other food leh .. i think at most 2 packets is more than enough ...

  As for me, I shld be bringing a non-alcoholic drink ..

  duno what yet ..maybe chin chow ...

  We usually end up with too much food lol. 2 packets should be more than enough, with plenty of choices around.

  I may make couscous salad, spaghetti carbonara...or if I'm ambitious, dumplings.

  I'm thinking of bringing a modified sheperd's pie. but that will depend on whether I manage to get it right first. Experimentation will be taking place soon.
