Bunny's at peace ...

Dear all ....
no more cookie to sayang at this year's potluck .....
yesterday, a piece of wood fell on cookie cos as you know, my backyard's renovating ....
initially, we thought cookie was fine, cos she was able to bounce away afterwards .... but something went wrong last night, she didn't respond when I called her to come for her night snack ... I went to check on her, and thought she was just too sleepy to eat the bread crust ......
but she passed away today ....
she's been a happy bunny, not locked up in a cage like others, but had free reign of the backyard, where she dug countless burrows, and also liked to hop out into the back alley to galavant on her own .... she'll be sorely missed, thought she's now in bunny heaven ....

I'll post up some of her latest pictures later on ..... she's just dug a new burrow only last week, and got herself all brown and muddy ......
she's had a happy bunny life .... done all the happy bunny things .... I'm sure she's happy somewhere else now .... just that the backyard's emptier now .... no more furry critter that comes hopping to me when I call "cookie cookie !" ....

last time my bunny oso looked fine after he fell down (after hopping up and down my boxes).. then next day oso passed away.
the female bunny (the partner) oso pass away the next day..
it is heart wrenching....
RIP... hope cookie meet my 2 bunnies...and become friends..

I've never thought of it this way, till gf commented on it ...
seems like cookie and patches look alike, both got that white streak down between the eyes, and both are patches brown and white ....
