What happens to the critters in the pet shops

that nobody wants ? .....
this thread is sparked by an sms moments ago from the gf .... shes' thinking of the bunnies we saw at the pet shops last night ..... (we've been looking at the next cookie, which I'd want to call tookie).
There was this adult holland lop bunny that's already getting too big for his cage .... and it looks like nobody wants him ...... and then there are the pupsies ..... the tiny young furballs are quickly snapped up .... but what about the ones that got too big but nobody wants them ? ....
where do they end up ? .....
on a hot plate ? .... put down ? ....

No idea but I never bought a dog/cat/rabbit/hamster from a pet shop before
I guess they wait for someone who takes pity on them to buy them

Same thing they do to perishable foods at supermarkets, and the pastries that don't make it past the cashier at confectioneries everywhere lor.

I wonder if they let the doggies out for walks and stuff too .....
there's this salt and pepper terrier in the cage there, almost full grown already .... every time we go to the same shop, he'd be just trotting round and round in circles, chasing his tail ... I think he's going made liao .....
poor pupsies ....

I guess that they join the thousands that are already at SPCA or Noah's Ark. I've always thought that it's a better idea to adopt a pet from one of these shelters.

that is a interesting question....Wabbit Stew.....no lah.however i did saw it served on my plate in college - London. the fur was still attached.

take the adult lop.. lops are cute and dumb.. but don't let him do what cookie used to do, they'll be bullied to hell and back by everything and everyone...
