Hmm..... about that little thing about Ms World Singapore committing fraud.....
To sum it up:
1. Yes, she really committed credit card fraud.
2. The organizers didn't know initially, but when she came clean with them, they told her to keep quiet about it.
3. She won't give up the crown unless the organizers want to fire her.
Looking at her stand, I don't think she realizes how serious her crime really was and how lightly she got off..... sure, everyone has a past, but I sure as heck didn't swindle or cheat when I was 19....
And I don't think she realizes that you need to convince a judge that you should be allowed to travel overseas while you're still on probation....

I get the feeling that she's in denial.... as it stands, probation for several counts of monetary fraud is already a very light punishment. She could have been looking at a few months' stay in jail.
If anything, when you're on probation, no way on earth can you travel overseas unless you have very good reasons like family emergencies or medical treatment.....
I seriously doubt she can convince a judge that a beauty pageant is sufficient grounds for overseas travel.... if she does go, then I'll be extremely disappointed with the justice system...

It would be more "dignified" if she just resigns rather than be forced outta title - which is gonna happen soon now that it's common knowledge.

She is the epitome of fail, and she's representing us. /facepalm

To me, these words of hers are super PHAIL.
'Who does not have a past? Who has never done wrong? In actual fact, being put under probation does not make it a criminal record. It is made serious because my offence is a legal one.'
She doesn't get it at all.... prospective employers, banks, and scholarship boards do not generally ask 'Do you have a criminal record'?
Instead, they ask: 'Have you ever been convicted in a court of law? If yes, please provide details'.
In which case, she would have to say that yes, she has been convicted of fraud while working for a previous employer, and that her sentence was probation.
If I were an employer, really, I would be very wary of hiring someone who has been caught for fraud - especially in previous employment.

Packing should be easy for you since this is probably yr upteenth trip. And you're not my sis! By this I mean you ain't someone who needs 4 bags for a week's trip. Anyway, enjoy yr trip!
