Ya....speaking of competition, maybe the only competition I can think of at this moment is competition to board the bus and trains.
Seeing people run 5m to board the bus makes me LOL and people will look at me.

FUDGIE WAS HERE!!!
In other news, I need to go to a lab at St John's Island soon. Then I have to rush back to campus for a night class. Sigh....
Actually sometimes its not their fault that they feel the need to run bcos the buses and trains are getting packed to the brim by the day.
And I dunno why after people commented that our trains are getting packed, our circle line trains actually down-sized instead of up-sized. So exactly what did LTA mean by: We cannot modify our trains to make it longer due to existing infrastructures.
Bullshit.
Just like the excuse for our fare hikes on the basis of high fuel prices. Then their new justification was that new buses are now more expensive, they refused to lower prices initially when fuel prices came down.
I'm so glad I don't like watching football
and singtel's tv programming sucks.
starhub and the pirate's bay meet all my needs.

and they wonder why people do not want to raise children. it'd be an act of cruelty to raise them in a country whose standard of living is rapidly declining, regardless of what the gahmen claims.

well, taiwan has its own big set of problems, not sure about korea.
but in any case, I'm not holding my breath. you must remember that our political leaders claim to have eradicated poverty, claim that there are no beggars in singapore, and claim that it takes no more than 20 minutes to get to any part of the island. I'd say that doesn't reflect well on their grip on reality.
Taking fun seriously.
ahahaha

What kind of nation-building is this here, it seems largely based on economic growth based on LKY's latest call to speak Mandarin to suck up to PRC!
