  i booked my ippt just 4 days before window closes

  then i will aim for RT, muahahahahahahahaha~

  then it will extend over the window and i will clear ippt after the RT

  yah.. financial year.. 1 April to 31 March

  if you are called up as many times a SAF wants within the financial year not exceeding i forgot how many days, i think 40 days, it is considered 1 call-up

  if it exceeds that time (got to check with the admin if it's 40 days or 42 days) then considered 2 call-ups

  I had to defer weeks ago, and a week later I got a letter from an encik saying that the squadron regrets hearing that I have successfully deferred and looks forward to my further commitment.

  heh .... they sent me a letter telling me to ignore my SAF100 and skip the stint instead ... telling me I'm not needed ......

  maybe they had to operate on a budget and decided to get someone more worthwhile to come back ? ....

  my side, there were 2 ICTs cancelled because they could not muster enough people...

  most of my unit "indispensibles" (missile launcher operators) are based overseas.. each time there is a big ICT which involves the whole unit, they can't get enough of them together..

  so most of my ICTs have been either platoon or the most battery

  don't need the whole bunch to come back or whatever...

  and my sqn is commercialising, i wonder where i will be thrown to?

  and I can't remember who was it that told me, wives of servicemen on deployment in the US or Australia are tend to be super productive when they're there so their kids can get citizenship.

  I can still live with NS and its after-effects of IPPT/ICT.

  Singapore is one of those places I can walk after dark without fear of being molested. And its quite stable.

  All these for now.
