  as in the stupid thing has destroyed about 15 cars already.. all staff ones 

  it's probably a malfunction but the buildings bastards refuse to admit coz kena pay.. so a lot of people damned angry about it..

  i think it's more 50/50.. malfunction + people never pay attention and just drive before the green light comes on

  i remember SAF had 2 incidents

  then SOPs were created... haven't heard of that kind of incident since then.

  but then, u guys use the cheapo security guards that the budget terminal uses.

  don't think they will bother with any SOP

  your side not pushing hard enough lah. Or rather don't want to push them.

  anyway I think the system where the floor comes up to blcok entry is safer, as in no malfunction and the stupid barrier crashes down. Only issue is that it's quite slow.

  that's what you think...

  the barrier is the type which comes up from the ground..

  being hydralic, it pops up very quickly..

  which explains why the chassis of the guy's car is pretty much dented until the bonnet cannot close

  i should think is the...i foward u to you for your action, he foward to another colleague for their action...and so on... the last person who receive the mail probably months later..and therefore a passie issues, so KIV and shelved for next year or never need to be actioned on anymore......

  chances are, they never look at the bloody green light...

  during the peak time when everyone moves in or out, the barrier is disabled and the light automatically turns off...

  so most never look at the light.. until becomes a habit, the bloody drop-arm move up, they drive.. i've seen many of them move off before the drop-arm is completely up..

  i suspect this is what happens whenever the thing destroys a car

  but that would defeat the purpose of it...and then how will the higher ups justify the cost of having it in the first place
