  got the missus pots of orchids .....

  she hangs them outside her bachelorette pad and waters them every day ....

  not the most romantic thing to do to come bearing a pot of orchids in charcoal, but my gifts last a long long time ...

  Try Purple Statices intermix with yellow.

  Somehow....I realised that Singaporeans been mistaking statices as 'forget me nots'.

  And statices last a long time.

  Remove the buds, spread them on A4 paper to dry on a aircon office table.  And they make lovely dried flowers potpupurri.

  Seriously flowers don't last and is not practical

  I find flowers a waste of money

  Gimme something I can use and I'm happier.... but this is unless the lady is practical and not a hopeless romantic.
