Its such a shame the Japs pulled out.
So only MotoGP is left with Jap labels?
That, World Superbikes and the American NASCAR and IRL. I have to find out for myself what's so fascinating about oval racing when I get there.

Oh yea.
When are you heading to USA? (did I get the location right?)

For them it's bad taste to splurge on racing (which is really just for corporate vanity) while their other employees face paycuts or retrenchment.

I've booked a ticket for 11 Jan. Hopefully there'll be a gathering between the potluck and that date.

Oh yes, I found Italian-made Nutella at Jurong Point @ $3.50 a jar, if anyone wants some.

The only time I had nutella was when it came with my combat rations.
Not particularly fond of it.

"Normal" ones are produced under license in Malaysia or, if you're lucky, Australia. But Nutella is Italian in origin.
time to hit the sack...see ya.
And off to bed I go...see you all tomorrow.

i never had nutella until i went abroad! surprise! surprise! and i never had them ever since i got back! (i think!)
maybe i should get a jar for old times sake this weekend.
other stuff...i'm getting the year-end syndrome of "time flew by too quickly this year; i haven't achieved much; i feel i'm going nowhere". not too sure about you guys but at this moment, i feel kinda low.
1) Time to arrange dates for your dental, medical check ups and return whatever monies you owe.
2) Time to plan out new year resolutions, classes/licences & properties/assets/liabilities/holiday trips to acquire and probably budget for next year.
3) Review your insurance needs again.
4) Shop for your own christmas presents aka books. Buy your new year clothes or start tailoring for them now.
5) Sort thru your office table, or at least pack your bags to be prepared for 1) sudden move, sudden holiday, sudden work travels, sudden whatever events with stationaries, clothes, biscuits, earthquake, floods (Its on the news, floods end this year to next year, so keep whatever you touch, off the floors.)
6) Update your mp3s, back up your data into portable hard drives, vacumn your keyboards and maybe change out a mattress that is so old, it sunk in the centre.
me home....
