tare => What you see here is living proof that some people do eat prata with both sugar and curry....
I used to enjoy it on its own without curry, and that goes for kosong, tisu, honey and ice-cream varieties. I don't eat it anymore though. Mushroom and cheese prata are just poor man's murtabak IMO.
Spread some curry on it....and since we're at it, can anyone recommend some good prata stalls for me?

One $5 murtabak there can feed two ordinary-sized people.

dipped so that it's crisp and still drenched in curry... even better if they have fish curry

Ate prata as a kid. During one stormy rainy day, in a attap roof house somewhere in Malaysia.
Somehow, the rain managed to pelt down brown/black colour pellets from the attap roof into our bowls of curries. Mummy says those are just attap chee babies. We didnt know better......
And much later, at tender ages of 18+, I ate pratas again, but since I have total no idea what kinds of pratas there was, and it was fast food for when you are zipping around in a police car rushing here and there.
So I only learnt to ate prata kosong with sugar and sometimes curries splashed all over the car dashboards after eating and driving with our hands.
Then hor.....some nice old men taught me, that Prata Kosongs are always prepared at the side of the hot pan by those enterprising indian stall cooks. So must order either Egg or Bawang Pratas to ensure that you will eat fresh pratas instead of pre-prepared pratas.
At ripe old age of 27+ I discovered Milo Dinosaur, Tissue Prata & Banana Prata.
At oldie age of 30+ I discovered Murtabak & Teh Halia
And recently, was introduced Teh O Ice Limau and last week to Cheese & Mushroom Prata. To eat cheese & Mushroom prata properly. You must very fast cut/tear them up so the melted cheese is more evenly spread to mushrooms and all the flour or prata skin bits.
