it's across the road from the hawker centre .... the prata is nothing to sneeze at, but the kambing soup ...... *swoons .......
they cook it in a big pot and keep the pot boiling all day and night ..... shiok

Jalan Kayu is severely overrated.
Niqqi's Cheese Prata near NUS has also gone to the dogs.... they've raised prices, put in much less cheese, and they screwed up my order the last two times I was there....

What about that group of prata shops off Upp. Thomson Road, at Casuarina Road/Street/Avenue/whatever? How do they rank?
I had chepatti with mutton near my flat yesterday nite with a kaki... it was $4.50, pathetic portion, but the food was nicely done..oh well...

there are 2 shops which are pretty good at Thomson Road..(near my office, happiness)..
Casurina is near Lower Pierce Reservior, it is still alright...not cheap though...
The Prata Shop is at Thomson Road, before Thomson CC and Long Beach, it served fantastic Branyani. me and colleage had one each, then we ordered chocolate prata and fried char kuey tiao with mushroom... we had to take cab home cos we overate...

there is one good one at serangoon road (little india) but portion oso very small... and is maintained by very grouchy old indian grandpas..
