Morning....
Mom's always complain the house very dusty cos near our place, still building new condos, new mega mall, new line, road re-construction, new interchange...
she wipes the floor twice daily and we still can feel it dusty after sunset. haiz..
Once all these bldgs are ready, HUMAN TRAFFIc and noise comes after that..parking!! if all decide to get free parking on sunday (to siam parking at the mall), where do i park my family car even we paid for the HDB lot!!!
and haiz..again, these comes far too late, i am getting too old to enjoy these facilities, and that is living there for the past 20 years with minimum facilities and zero entertainment attraction (not even a fricking K-box hor)...

And yeah, by asking me to hold my backpack in front, I was infringing on the space of the person sitting down.
In the end, boarding no. 95 on a weekday morning is like Wrestlemania.
The Circle Line would tremendously help things, but I seriously doubt that the Stage 4 section would open next year.... I only see big gaping holes and major piling works in progress at both Buona Vista and Kent Ridge.
well if I took the bus to interchange everyday... it's worse... That's why I walked to the bus interchange every morning...
There's 2 schools directly after my bus stop... so if I'm at the aisle, I'll usually get wacked left and right by primary school students with HUGE schoolbags... and they are just kids -___-

heng tamp still got k-box and billiard saloon... that is before tampines one took over the spot -______-
K-box used to be soooo fun becoz everyone knows one another there... U can go into any room and there's is 75% chance that u'll know the group ... even b4 K-Box, the arcade there was a popular hangout that garantee 100% u'll find someone u know there...
And LF, they are just primary school kids... I dun wanna say something then end up they start crying -___-
At least she asked. I just shove :P
Anyway this morning I was irritated by this idiot who don’t know how to use the Quick Cheque Drop Box -_-“
He was fumbling with it, pushing at the top to open it wider, straightening his cheque, repeat -_-“
As I was already late for work, I just went in front and dropped my cheque in. Sheez.
He looks around our age or maybe in the early 40s. He has to be educated because he was neatly dressed in office attire.
And he doesn’t know how to use a Quick Cheque Drop Box!

it took me 6 months to stop using flowery hokkien at work.
I'm using more and more flowery language at work these days

Okay then, please translate Macbeth's 'Dagger Scene' into Hokkien:
Is this a dagger which I see before me,
The handle toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee.
I have thee not, and yet I see thee still.
Art thou not, fatal vision, sensible
To feeling as to sight? or art thou but
A dagger of the mind, a false creation......
morning all ~

Just for grins and giggles, I ran that through Yahoo's Babel Fish translator and got:

Now, my Chinese sucks, so I don't know how accurate the translation is. Anyone care to comment on its accuracy?

Wah..... best!
Boarding 95 is ok at peak hr is still ok in my opinion....of cos the stupid thing is that the peak hr defined by SBST is still stuck in the old era.
Its a nightmare trying to board 95 at 9 30AM. You can see furious faces and fists waved at the stupid buses that dont even bother to stop at Buona Vista.

艺术 = art, as in drawing, painting, an art, a skill
It's still very wrong but the babalfish translation is very funny~
in cantonese. ..i like:
"hoi chong fan-shiu" = > u go plant sweet potato
when me and my good friend about 9 years old, we are a naughty lot. My friend's grandma would chase us around and shouted this to us..!
and
"lei pei young tan tung gu" => u kana pple stew shittake mushroom...
I heard this on a hkg drama and laughed.. sounded so smooth...yet...muahahaha...
forgot to translate/..
"hoi chong fan-shiu" = > u go plant sweet potato ===> dig your own grave, GO AND DIE NOW
"lei pei young tan tung gu" => u kana pple stew shittake mushroom... ==> Lost the job, U've been FIRED!!!,
Okay guys.
Just created a 'Shakespeare in Hokkien' thread.
Have fun.
Acid should teach me Hokkien
