my ex-dog (who passed away many years ago), stayed up for me when i return from work at 3am... he will eat his dinner at the kitchen ..and i have to accompany him (if not, he will bark me at my bed), i was so tired...and i fell asleep on the kitchen floor.
next morning, my mom found me sleeping there still, while my dog was happily sleeping in my room....:(
