yesterday friend drove me to joo chiat to eat bkt - sin heng claypot. open 24hrs except mondays. got 6 and 7 dollar version. 7 is rib version which is supposedly better. i dont know since i only ordered rib version, but i like what i ordered.
i kinda enjoyed my lunch yesterday although it cost me $7.50 in a hawker centre..

Lunch was a box of BBQ chicken with peanut sauce, grilled zucchini and rice.
Dinner was a bowl of mac 'n cheese with ham from the grocery store selection, topped with some butternut squash soup from another pot.

i bought a packet of instant organic butternut squash soup at unity the other day too :) will try it tmr :)
today lunch i ate fei fei wonton noodle at joo chiat. somehow, i not very impressed leh. cos the char siew is the coloured pork version and the noodles a bit too soft and oily.
fei fei is seriously overated... I'm telling u...
The best wanton mee had to be either lavander FC, Tiong Bahru Market, or somewhere in Ubi...
Lavander de is good noodle and wanton...
Tiong bahru market has the 2nd best char siew in singapore...
Ubi de has alot alot of stuff and huge serving...

The one at marina square de is a giant curry puff... but I cant remember wat does it contain since it's quite expensive per piece... I'll go have a look the next time i eat there...

the other day, i blur blur walk past dunman FC during lunch hours. didnt know Eng wonton mee is located there. anyway, wrong time. seems he only open 3pm onwards!
