no idea about TB. can give info?
as for ubi, if you know GPS loc would be good. then i can go check it out for lunch.
the other day, i blur blur walk past dunman FC during lunch hours. didnt know Eng wonton mee is located there. anyway, wrong time. seems he only open 3pm onwards!
TB de ah... It's at tiong bahru market... The old market there... Beside the Famous-But-Not-Nice de prawn mee shop that the TV got show de... near the side where u got the tiong bahru fishball... it's on the left side when u go up the escalator... Oh ya, go before 1pm... if not the charsiew might run out... the charsiew is damn godly, while the wanton is pathetic >__> I usually order char siew + noodle only
Ubi ah... I dunno the GPS loc, but honestly, the grandma who cook that is kinda old, went thru operation few years ago so I dun think she'll be selling wanton mee for long... better go eat if U got the chance... It contains, mee, vege, alot of wanton, charsiew, shreded chicken, chicken feet, mushroom... the upsize version is very HUGE in serving so I suggest u try the normal version first...
Well, I always forget tat one is ubi ave 2/3/4... but it's infront of a bus stop, got 65,22,8... it's on the left when u're taking 65/22/8 to tampines interchange... beside that stretch got a few old shops selling snacks, a OCK and a wax meat shop... very hard to descript...

problem is, there's another coffee shop opposite it, and i also dunno how to describe to u which one is it, since there's both a bus stop infront of it...
AHHH~
It's not along Aztec side of the road... not sure if this helps...
However, plz be noted that I haven been there for 1year+ and I dunno if the ah ma still there anot... do keep me inform...

lol. k. dunno whether today or tomorrow i go. weather depending.
had lunch at wendy's today cos got some biz in town. regret spending SGD 9.15 on crap and queue. wendy's is no more the 'to-die-for' burger. with a non-stop queue, and i waited at least 15 min, the burger was not even warm. the veg on the burger was cold. is that a quality burger? i dont think so. even macs way better. i give up. sg have a way of making good food turn crap.
ate saba fish set today for $5.50...
Whole Saba fish, Rice + soup with fishball, vege, some crabmeat and oden(?) stuff...
Fish was surprisingly fresh...
Thank god I beat the whole queue today by going early...
*edited for dumbass remarks*

ok. went there today. easy to find. since along ubi ave 2 only one pair of bus stops have coffee shops at both bus stops. near paya lebar, not eunos link. the bus stop where the buses are going towards tampines, as per acid info.
old lady still doing the hard work of blanching the noodles. but got helper (maybe her son, dunno) doing the rest of the stuff and collecting money.
for SGD 2.50, it's fine. good value for money, but not fantastic. they have a short queue and i waited only 5-10 min, but there are longer queues at various coffeeshops along the ubi ave 2. in fact. there was a pretty long queue for some fish soup shop at a coffeeshop i walked past, and also a long queue for SGD 2.50 char siew rice at a small coffeeshop at the ubi ave 1 area.

it's still st paddy's day over there!
as always, since i've been at this section, i've missed it..
oh well..
me had veggie hor fun
very tasty
the canteen is at industrial park along amk ave 10
lunch with zora was nice... we shared
the fish was very nice coz it was very fresh
instant noodles with extra added yong tau foo ingredients..
(Copied from teh crapbox, this is for my lunch today... )
Ate Duck rice + Roast pork rice coz I skipped breakfast ... Then I simply had to walk to convention and found there's food fair there... GG~~
Ate, 1 chicken kebab pita bread thingy, 3 steaming hot custard bun, shared satay with my colleague, 1 pork bun, 2 ondeh ondeh and 1 cup coffee...
for lunch, i went to Lavendar FC. ate the famous wanton mee. but not very tasty.$3.50 only 2 wanton which were insipid, some slices of the pink coloured pork, the usual miserly greens and average amount of mee which had a bit of a instant noodle taste and feel to it. not worth the money.
oso tried the beef noodle stall, but only beef balls cos dont like beef spare parts (and i always get wrong whenever i order beef so i now stick to beef balls only. hawker cannot mess that one up). the beef balls were very normal, so i guess the stall is only famous for the beef and parts not for beef balls. for beef balls, i think i will stick with the FengShan FC stall. the hand-made beef balls are way larger and crunchier.
btw, razor tv was out filming the FC. very funny thing happen, when they try to video the boss of the beef noodle stall, he take cover.
so overall, nothing for me at Lavendar FC. i dont need to ever go there again.
queue wise, both stalls about 10 min wait.
sick...
only dory fish, salad, soup, 1 piece garlic bread + spegatti...
fish was unexpectedly fresh and nice...

psst... beef ball noodle... extremely good quality beef balls can be found at golden mile... beside the "very green" char kway tiao...
However, the owner is abit critical that he only sells the beef balls with noodle... so no beef balls soup >__>

but then, personal preference...
i just had a hawker centre katsudon today... not too bad
Boiled tortellini for lunch at home, then had a massive breaded veal in marinara sauce, bacon and cheese for dinner with minestrone soup, vegetables and canolli.
