you see some of the idiots in the forum asking how to get to iluma from bugis MRT station?the people at the call centre are used to them..
sometimes i wonder why the call centre people don't just snap and yell obscenities at the people who ask stupid questions...
here's a common one too: my passport expire yesterday, can i go to JB just for a few hours to shop then come back?

this is why I can't do customer service/support. I'd get fired on my first day.

yeah, I can only do backroom stuff.
even when investigating cases or answering queries I depend on our customer service centre as the first line of defense.

Some of the customer random call number from yellow page when they can't get our customer care center to pick up the line.
Once someone called my line :
Me : Good afternoon, this is [company name]
Customer : Hello, is this [company name]
Me : Yes, can i help you ?
Customer: I bought a rice cooker yesterday, then no electricity, cannot use leh.
Me : Can I give you the customer care center number, you call them to check ?
Customer : I tried to call but nobody pick up, so i call this number lor
Me : Sorry, this is not customer care center, I can't help you. Maybe you try to call them again ?
Customer: You all in the same company right, you don't know meh ?
Me : But this is xxx department
Customer : same company right ?
Me : ...............
I had to convince the person till she finally put down the call....

Neither can you do nursing because some of the *(&@#$* things you are forced to do is just *)(@#$&*(&#$%!! And some of the *#@()$& people you have to deal with is just ... it's not a life.
