  could u check with the technical pple there... how long does the car battery last for a 1.5year old car?  usage say, at night daily to and fro..

  it usually lasts about 3 years.. no need to ask one this.. unless you've been abusing the shit out of the battery like using the aircon without turning the engine on, stuff like that, around 3 years should be okay

  thing about Hokkaido is that there is no rail system and the bus system.. uhh... not sure if there even is one  

  Osaka will be different.. rail all the way.. i think zora's getting us JR Rail Passes

  any good car mechanic to recommend?  i need to send car for a checkup ...

  last check was 1/2 year ago :(

  there is. Hokkaido is small. maybe 500kmx400km only. I was thinking i won't have to lug the luggage chasing trains. I will use the JR in tokyo for the next 1 week. ppl who been to hok say it easy to drive there
