i've heard of secondary students who don't know how to tie their own shoelaces...

O.O
I remembered as a little girl, I insisted that my mum taught me how to tie my laces instead of her doing it for me.
No la the MRT one I know some sheltered prince or princess dunno how to take.

the temp staff sitting behind me tried to bargain with her boss abt the work submission time... lolx~ it's the way she talk to her boss is way-over the limit~

nope.. hey.. when i was doing my NS (and that's a mighty long time ago), there were some people who were crying over having communal showers, didn't know how to wash their No.4 fatigues, and other stuff like that...
my own BMT platoon, there were a few who didn't know how to use a broom!
i bet these days, the oxygenated water made them softer...
its the oxygenated water!!!!!!!
cyberdyne is preparing the war! its making humans incapable of doing anything!

my bmt buddy doesn't know how to use a broom.
can't even roll up the mosquito net
can't even do a push up against the WALL
cupboard sticks like fark because he dunno how to (therefore he doesn't) wash his clothes
our bunk IC makes fun of him by threatening to tell him the ending of the Tom Clancey novel that my "buddy" was reading at that time. the useless fark would cover his ears and said "i don't want to hear! i don't want to hear!"

those stuff I believe, thank god I was from the mono intake and there weren't such shit over there .... that lawyer friend of mine whom some of you have met at baden's, was a PC at tekong, and he's got a lot of such comical stories to tell too ......
but ... surely .... dunno how to take the MRT ......
one would expect them to teach MRT riding at chao yang special school ......
not knowing how to take the MRT ... it's something you'd expect from someone intellectually subnormal ... >.<

During my combat medic course, there was one trainee in my platoon who would whine incessantly about going outfield.... never mind that he was a service medic and all he had to do was to watch from the sidelines while the rest of us combat medics went chiong-ing...
Build basha, whine. Eat combat rations, whine. Wear SBO, whine. Sleep in basha, whine. We all mocked him to high heaven, and with good reason.... even for the combat medics, that was a sibeh slack outfield..... I had gone for far more physical outdoor camps back in secondary school.
Oh, and the poor sod told us a really dumb story..... on his first day of BMT, he and his mother clutched each other tightly until just before the parents had to leave... upon which they both cried uncontrollably.....
.... because they thought that National Service means not seeing or hearing from your family at all for the next 2 1/2 years.
oh yeah.. we got this guy in my BMT platoon out of trouble once...
stupid shit was day-dreaming all the time.. when it was time to do maintenance on his rifle, he didn't have a clue, and was too stupid to ask..
the bolt carrier and all that inside bloody rifle RUSTED solid and you could not cock the thing!
i think that's a court-martialling or something right?
i took the damned rifle from him, held on to the charging handle, bashed the butt against the ground and a whole lot of mud, rust and other shit fell out...
i'm not kidding...
the rest of us guys quickly took apart the damned bolt carrier assembly, used soap, green scouring wool, steel wool and whatever we could find to clean up the rust and other crap...
then we basically covered everything in oil for him...
stupid shit just stood there in a daze while we saved his ass..
I do wonder how these sort of chaps would go through life in the future ......
My god. I can't believe I had a 4 hr supper last night.
Even after all that rifle maintenance, I sure wouldn't envy the recruit in the next BMT batch who got that rifle assigned to him....
