i have seen them at work, and it works cos the women who go there are ready to be picked up. similar to men who go thailand or phuket wat. when your mindset is already like that, is piece of cake. not like SG women with so many expectations.

You know, there is a very big difference between 'having realistic expectations' and 'settling for rubbish'.
Women who got themselves pregnant by the Kuta cowboys fall into the latter category.
Like this 'Sandra' woman.... I don't sympathise with her at all. As much as she was being taken advantage of, well, she was pretty much asking for it. Not to say that the fella wasn't a blooming b*stard, of course, but she only has herself to blame for her predicament.
Her experience was entirely consensual and there was no coercion involved. In the end, she was extremely naive to have settled for rubbish, and now she has to bear the consequences of her actions.

I mean, I thought at the very primal level, the physical characteristics for "attractiveness" cut across cultures ?
look at that chap in the middle, some men can probably cup and span his entire waist with both hands, would women feel "protected" by someone like that ? ......
actually, the stories I hear about these "cowboys", is that they all employ some sort of bomoh black magic ... that's why women would succumb and spread their legs and wallets for them so easily. Some of them would still look like a bum however you cut it, and I doubt the beggar look is in.

she says she's not surprised .... she's been to bali and kuta before and she's not impressed ... cos she's pale and looks a bit jap she got harassed by these "cowboys" a lot over there ....
but yeah ... I agree with fudgie ... you can't blame anyone if you settled for rubbish ...
this woman kept having sex with the chap even after finding out he was attached, AND married AND abusive ......
