Any watch enthusiast here can identify this? The model, or whatever is needed to valuate it. Or where can I get this valuated?
I'm not up to spped with antique pieces, but looking at the enamel dial, strap lugs and serial number, I'd expect that it's from the 1930's or so. It appears to have been manufactured for Robinson's by a third-party watchmaker, which was common practice at the time.
If you do want someone to have a look at it, you could take it to Passions at Funan. Be advised, however, that since these guys are in the buying business, they'll probably undervalue it.
Much appreciated! My relative actually wants to have it placed on auction, and you are right about the date of origin, as according to him, it is from his grandfather. I'll drop by Passions to have a quick check. =D
