Nope I'll be paying for the brand not the bike
Plus. it's not like I cycle very often it will just be a white elephant at home
i missed cycling...
for people with way too many dollars and not enough sense
actually if you look carefully at the price only Asia got explioted by Branding....
Europe and US pricing are similar at 200 bucks, only when it crosses into this region price rose to 300 - 655. At the end of the day who to blame.....? Asian "Face"

In Asia Brand equal to "Face" value..... : )

that's even more absurd...
but then, i've an office full of people who are obsessed with brand-name things... and i'm the office pariah for telling it like it is when they ask me.. they've stopped asking me
Jane Austin's books are like the victorian pulp romances...
the critics got it wrong by saying they "speak for the time" and all that shit.. but ultimately, they're shallow and pointless pulp romances just like the crappy Mills and Goons or whatever the hell romance books they have now...
frankly, these books and the women's magazines which extoll the "virtues" of materialism have a lot to answer for by dumbing down their readers and filling their brains with a lot of crap

The notion of brands ---- to associate with / or reflection of / ---- certain lifestyle perharps enhance differentiation of identity is a mark of attracting the member of the opposite sex for procreation.
See at the end of the day it is still about Penis and Virginal grow in the brain. Or maybe it is the reverse. brain grow inside Genitals.

I can understand branded clothes if the brand is known for say ... very unique designs, those haute couture stuff or fantastic workmanship like.. uhh.. abestos clothing or special material for special functions...
I can't understand branded clothes T-shirts (like duh) or jeans or generic clothings
i'll never understand anyone who wants to pay a month's wages or more for a handbag

Ha.....if there is a consipration theory from Harold this would be the one....Jane works for Harold ......Go shopping.
They probably made the wrong observation.....they should have noted that the women at that "time" learned the wrong skill sets instead of clerical skills the women learned to sew, knit, sing, play string instrument, and read poems.
But again todays women that work in the offices also spend their monies in Harold so i am not sure it will changed much......

I agree with this. Unless of course.. you are a minimum wage earner doing a part time job............. . then.. Hmmm.. it doesn't make sense either!

Hey, wahddaya ya know - Porsche finally made something without a flat-six.
The branding's not only over-the-top for the market, it's also well behind the times - Peugeot's been making bikes for donkey's ages.
