  Thinking of setting this thread up.

  In any case, who knows wat's going on w/ the terrapin at my place?

  1) It's having flaky stool. 2) It's quite moody these days i.e. not so active.

  maybe bring to the vet?

  see if pinkybear knows coz she's quite good with reptile pets..

  Is it eating?

  Also did you try sunning it because lately it has been raining a lot and terrapins do need sun as well for their general well-being

  flaky stools..... obviously not feelng well. bring to vet better....

  last time my pet tortoise also lydat... but since i was young, i didnt know wad to do, i gave it po chai pills...hahah~~~ cos in my mind, flaky stools = lao sai... hahha~ lucky it didnt die aft that....

  Actually what is your Terrapin’s diet

  Flakey stools could be due to too much acidic fruits or intestinal parasites.

   

  If it’s fruits, than stop giving it fruits.

  Parasites you can try grinding up pumpkin seeds into powder and mix it with the food to feed it

  If it doesn’t clear up, bring it to a vet. It might need to be put on panacure.

  it's diet is usually bread or meat (prawn, pork).

  and yeah, past few days not been sunning

  Try sunning it first

  Not me.

  If I keep hamsters it will be as fish food.

   

  Anyway, Shelly will be going to her foster home tomorrow.

  At least till Copper recovers from his injuries.

  frankly, i still think the answer to the stray dog, unruly dog and whatever dog problem is still the claypot...

  the strays can be rounded up and eaten...

  the owners of unruly dogs will suddenly become responsible if they know that their dogs will be eaten..

  ... you know it's true...

  but you know the bleeding hearts in SPCA will not.. they'd rather just put the dogs down (no difference if the dogs will be eaten anyway) instead of using this opportunity for a shocking and impactful public education event

  These irresponsible people usually don’t care about the consequences unless it hurts their wallet.

  bought and installed aquarium light.

  Noticed it's so much active suddenly. But it suddenly sneezes and it's not really eating anything as yet.

  Weather could be too cold.

  Just make sure it dun get a runny nose as that can kill them
