i wonder, when the bubble bursts, the last guy left holding the "asset" may find it a liability
in any case I think MBT should relook at building flats at Sengkang & Punggol under old style for some 2 yrs.
Not BTO

I can't speak for those, but the market is slowly rationalising itself, it appears that a lot of foreigner investors and offloading their properties and a lot of singaporeans are stepping in and picking these properties up.

I dunno ... I have not been briefed on it.
but it sounds unlikely ... there aren't enough BTOs to go around yet, though they've been pushing out thousands of units. Priority would always be given to couples starting their families of course. A couple plus their new kids would have collectively a more pressing need for housing than a swinging single, neh ?

There was this old man who woke up one morning feeling like an 18 year-old. Unfortunately, he could not find one that early in the morning

the foreigners are offloading.
I think it's because they are farked over a lot more than other people during the last crisis and need the cash flow .....
I think it's the same story with the two current listings I have .....

strangely I don't think malaysians are prominent players in the local property market, unless you count in PRs.
Indonesians yes, especially those halfway between tycoon and plain-millionaire status. Indonesians all aspire to the US. Many of them were educated there, and have a lot of assets there ... I think many of them were farked over big time in the last two dips.
actually .... what I DID hear, is that the 8k income ceiling would be up for review soon.

from a social engineering point of view, that makes sense I guess. looks like its the open market for me then.
