Wah lau....since when are Pte Ltd company practicing our government opt out system?
I receive a letter for some management company for various printed directories and website (such as yellow pages etc) telling me to pay up since I did not response to their earlier mail regarding some business listing from their services.
I just drop them a mail to exclude me nicely.....feel like wirting a long email to them to fuck off and not imposing their service to me since I did not request for their service.

you can actually whack them..
no contract was signed, no agreement made...
they cannot bill you for any services they attempted to render for you...
in fact, you can sue them for using your company name.. ahahahaha

Your comment about your office freezing again reminds me of this article in the Straits Times I read when I was last back in Feb-Mar, where locals AND expatriates complained about how cold the office buildings are here. If you ask me though, I'd rather be cold than hot.
Can't wait to get back to Winter in Melbourne!

singaporean here have a habit of complaining... Too hot also complain, too cold also complain... But I still prefer cold over hot... Coz if cold, at least can wear jacket, but if hot, u cant possibly ask me to work naked rite~Oh, one of the part of the office air-con is faulty and they receive full blast of the aircon, so people in tat area are decked in winter wear and towels covering the cubicle like some tent...
