Let's see if they can suppress the reports if that happens.
80,000... 350 schools.
229 tickets per school?

If there is any coercion involved, be it outright or subtle, it will be bad. Even if the tickets are given out for free.
I have no objection to the promotion of the local youth sporting scene.... but the students ought to be given the choice as to whether or not they want to go.

Yeah, but if that happens, you can count on the local media putting a different spin on it, i.e., "YOG tickets sell like hotcakes as students and parents trip over themselves to snap them up."

What would be ridiculous is if nearly all the tickets went to the schools, and people who actually want to go can't. But of course, the headlines will be "YOG tickets sold out due to high demand".

80000 is less than half of the available tickets.
then again, most people I know either don't know about the yog or don't give a shit.

Before or after cooking?
In any event, that's a lot of meat, even for 40 individuals.
the 40 strong army has hit the wall

Wimps!
they lost!!
they ate 160lbs..
Food won!!
Well, I predict the YOG to be a washout.
Right now I see the damn YOG buses on campus every day.... they hired the same bus company that provides the buses for NUS shuttle services.
The way they handled the whole YOG bus issue is one big f**kup.... by emblazoning the windscreens with 'GIVE WAY' in large bold characters, and threatening motorists who don't give way with fines, what kind of message are they sending out?
Would it kill them to just put out a press statement to kindly ask motorists to give way to YOG buses where possible? Sheesh.
only worry is ever since tat ultra rainy week, it's not really eating well.
