  Back in primary school, my principal expressly forbade parents from carrying the backpacks of their kids....

  And he enforced it.... to the point where he would walk around and advise parents who are carrying the backpacks to let their children carry it.

  Gotta respect the guy.

  hmm during primary school, we naturally carry my own bag. Cos we felt so happy to carry my own belongings, even going up and down the schoolbus.

  Mom will just hold my hands when we cross the roads.

  I am liable for my own bag and books,,,, cos i always lose things too..
