Don't think its the fault of the crane operator this time, it looks like the bus was trying to cut back into the lane where the crane had been taking up. The driver left too little allowance in making the filtering and the middle to the rear kena the boom.Tragic.
I don't think the driver could see he left too little room even though he should have been more cautious.
As for the poor pax, he was at the wrong place at the wrong time...guess when you have to go, it can happen anytime when you least expect it.

Sitting happily on a bus, only to have a cherry-picker smashing right through the window and impaling you to death.... what a way to go....
This reminds me of the time a few years ago when an ROC fighter jet crash-landed right into a storeroom and killed two of our NSFs who happened to be in there....
