We figured that we'd already have our hands full setting up our house and coping with our studies....
Besides, we'd rather just use the dosh saved from not having a honeymoon on more useful things like furniture and appliances.....

I think it's becoming an increasing trend: forget the honeymoon, and spend the money instead on more practical things.
Besides, we figured that we can always have a belated honeymoon.... say, after we both clear our studies a couple of years down the road....

That's what we thought and up till now we still don't have our belated honeymoonIt just never happened because both of our jobs require that we travel
And now with our pets, it is a problem to even travel together
