Speaking of hot weather, I needed a floor-standing fan to circulate air in my computer room upstairs as it can get pretty warm in there in summer. Being a cheap bastard, I headed over to Wal-Mart to look for one. Given that 99.9% of the junk sold in Wal-Mart is made in China, I was genuinely surprised to find that the fan that met my needs and which I ended up buying was actually made in San Antonio, Texas! So there, I did my part to support local industry over the weekend.
haha
I think cardboard cannot be 100% world factory la. too much problems.

Indeed. I should have bought two of them. And they weren't that expensive either (US$20)--gotta love cheap Mexican labour!
I dunno. but e SAF scholars seems running out of NDP ideas.
At City Hall they enacted a "MAJULAH SINGAPURA" exactly where "MAJULAH MALAYSIA" was placed 47 yrs ago.

Kinda reminds of when you're placing your order at a fast food outlet--the food that you actually receive never resembles how they're pictured on the menu board above.

That's exactly how it was with Wendy's over there. The patty looked shrivelled up compared to the picture. And over here the Wendy's is friggin' disgusting... one janitor picked her nose and I found hair in my food as well. I'm swearing off the place for life.
In-N-Out didn't disappoint though...

Unless those people are going to share flags, I don't think so. I think we'll see fewer flags.
