No lah, I'm not talking about the 3 letter swear words in chinese but a small part of the 三å—ç» that would help in parenting. This is for those who are already a parent, going to be parent and hoping to be a parent someday.
I'll chose that little part here and would hope that Sherko or anyone will do the translation. I hope that the translation is not just a direct translation but to explain the meaning of each 3 letter words for the benefit of all.
养教,父之过。教严,师之惰。
PS: I'll translate if Sherko or no one did.
人之 性本善 - People at birth, are naturally good.
性相近 習相é - Their natures are similar; their habits become different.
Cheyyyy.... I tot it is "ta ma de"........

excellent.....
Due to our economic changes and works, most parent today think that by providing the children with their needs(monetary and material) is fullfilling their duties as parent. More so are parents in persue of academic for their children that they forget character building as just as important or more important than having good grades, for a child character will have an even more lasting impact on his behaviour in life.
Although the second line mention teacher, I feel that a parent should also be his child teacher and friend as well. There is a saying 一日为师,终身为父. Therefore a student should treat his teacher like his parent. As a teacher, he should be responsible to look after his student like his children and to teach with passion for the good of his student with strict discipline. If a teacher who do not do so, he's not fullfilling his responsibility as a teacher.

Good... but I would like to add that 習相é habits or even environment can cause a person to change. I am a firm believer that environment can and will change a person. Therefore giving your child a good environment is a good start as well.
There is this story where Mencius's mother shifted her house 3 time for the sake of her child. åŸæ¯三è¿

If a child does not study, It is improper.
If he does not study while young, how will he act when old?

I would read it as the 3 duties and relationship
臣義
The duties and relationship between your government, your employer, your employee.
父å親
The duties and relationship between the parent and his child
å¤«å©¦é †
The duties and relationship between the husband and wife
What are these duties and relationship? It includes loyalty, love and harmony and knowing your postion in that relationship and adopting the right principle to it.
It is the duty of the government to provide law and order and to create prosperity and fairness for the country and the duty of the citizen to pay their taxes for the functioning of the country
It is the duty of the employer to provide a fair pay and work environment to their employee and it is the duty of the employee that the company is well and the business prosper
How often you hear employee taking the care less attitude in their work or working the "right amount" in relation to their salary. Often they forget that if their boss goes bust, so is their job.
It is the duty of the parent to teach their children the correct values and the duty of the children to learn and value their parent
It is the duty of the husband to be faithful, care and provide for the family and wife "serve" and be faithful to the husband to create a harmonious family environment for the family members.
