Been many years last went up to Genting Highlands.
1) Food expensive now. 1 Breakfast set cost RM11.30 (+10% Sv, 5% GST & fyi M'sia do have 5% GST imposed on restaurants). No wonder seeing M'sian ah pek or kids just settle w/ keropok or curry puff.
2) Went to Genting Theme Park. Was quite lucky, full of mist (until can't see hotel bldg itself).
3) Expensive M&M chocolate: RM21 for 1 400g/ 500g pack @ M&M shop. Tourist from China still find it cheap.
4) @ First World Bus Terminal, 1 plate of Fried Kway Teow cost RM8.
5) There's non smoking area Casino designated now. But being Malaysia, 'dilarang merokok' signboard no one cares. Mata also dun catch

met my relative there. They happened to be there too.
They started talking abt their lowly paid useless and corrupted mata. Like go makan, they go places w/ lots of foreign workers, end up e meal is percuma.
So they said living in Singapore yes it's a little ex, but much better least.
In any case can sense e Singapore IR is affecting Genting itself too.
they go and tekan the foreign workers to buy them lunch?
not afraid the foreign workers poison them ah?

muar otah is at its best when served just steamed out of the oven..
