  remember I was raving about this and moaning that it's not brought to singapore ?

  well, it's finally here ! opening tomorrow ! ... fatumnette and I are going !

  i'll probably give it a miss unless zora wants to go...

  I think the local distributors thought nobody would be interested in a movie about a dysfunctional life of a fat black woman.

  Until it won all those prizes at the academys and what not .....

  the run is long over in other countries.

  i guess we lose a lot of good movies because "no one wants to watch" them...

  but even with these awards and stuff, i think it'll be a short run too.. considering the viewing tastes of the normal singaporean..

  i'm betting almost no one watched The Hurt Locker and everyone watched Avatar... me included because it was a day out with everyone...
