Bad sore throat..... my dad and sis both have the flu, and it appears that one or both of them infected me with it....

I find that fasting makes me more alert and energetic. I do a modified 16 hr fast almost daily, which basically works out to me skipping breakfast, eating lunch, one tea break and dinner. no other food intake in between. All eating is done within that 8 hour window.
yay! work done for the day...!!! time to relax and prepare for weekend chiong hah!
I think I eat almost like a meal and a half a day these days
I skip breakfast because usually I wake up too late and just drink soymilk and water or coffee and water.
Lunch is usually heavy and usually 2 vegs and 1 fish, sometimes meat, or noodles of some sort.
Dinner because I work late I tend to just go home to drink some clear soup with Tofu & Seaweed & Mushrooms or I just take something really light like a grilled saba fish or something n fruits. I only eat till like half full because I have to sleep.
Not on a diet or anything but work is causing me to adjust my diet.
And the good thing is I can fit into clothes I could no longer wear, though my weight loss is not as drastic as AV.

but of course this kind of fasting is useless if you're overeating your calories anyway. its not some magic bullet. you need to fix how much and what you're eating first before even contemplating doing intermittent fasting
Oh ya and I think cutting down on sugar helps a lot.
It also helps that I don’t have a sweet tooth so no sugar, no issues for me
Soymilk is without sugar. Coffee because it’s the kopitiam kind, I need some sugar so I asked for less sugar. I don’t have a habit taking soft drinks so even less sugar consumed. I just order Chinese tea if I really need a drink.
my mom been getting loads of veggies in the fridge so every now and then, i made my own salad and veggies meals... hmmm.. mom's plan for me to lose weight..

Your salad if it’s loaded with creamy dressings is even worse!
If you must have dressing eat it with salt & pepper and a bit of parmesan if you must have cheese or just olive oil and vinegar dressing with a dash of soy sauce if you need some salty flavour.

i don't really bother with the meal portions during dinner; i mean i eat my regular dinner and if i'm so zonked out, i could crash 5 min after din. so far, weight is ok.

erh.. no leh....my salad now is balsamic vinger, olive oil, pepper and feta cheese dressing...
i dun have creamy dressing except mayo.. thats for potato salad

u exercise mah.. mine is only 3 jogs max per week niah.. and its only round my estate niah..

Come to think of it I have a tub of Cherry Garcia sitting in my fridge for 3 weeks and I have not touched it yet. MPB have been a good boy too ever since he went to the sinseh with me.
