And for those of you who missed it last night, here's the hilarious animation of the flight attendant who left the plane via the emergency slide.
The gist of it in English: He tried to stop a passenger from getting bags from the overhead locker while the plane was moving but got hit by the bag. The pax swore at him when he asked for an apology. He used the intercom to berate at the pax and announce that he quit, took 2 cans of beer from the galley and jumped down the emergency slide to get to the carpark. He drove home and was found in bed with his boyfriend by the police.
Not another campaign... again...
THE romancing of Singapore is taking a familiar turn down the road where a media campaign waits.
With marriage rates dipping over the last decade, singles will be urged, once again, not to 'leave it to fate to find that special someone'.
A new campaign will encourage them to be proactive about expanding their social circle - and it's okay to do it through a dating agency - as well as moderate their expectations of Mr or Miss Right.
The tender document issued by The Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sport said the chosen communications agency would have to produce a television commercial to promote dating and come up with a ' unique dating concept' to get singles to interact. The tender closes on Sept 15.
The campaign, targeted at young people aged 20 to 35 who do not date, is the first by the Social Development Network, born of a merger between the Social Development Unit and Social Development Service.
But it's not the first to tackle this problem of the apparent reluctance by singles to tie the knot.

MCYS is trying to compound the stupidity of the YOG with this?
I'm in the target age group and I'd like to tell them where to shove their campaign and their 'father knows best' attitudes.
It's a perfect distraction from the YOG fiasco though. Other countries improve their road networks and their facilities when they host Euro, World Cup and Olympics, while we've had to compromise.
no more projects from MCYS plz...

And create more problems that are related to overcrowding. I don't believe they're going to change the foreign talent/worker/import policy if the population of locals spikes upwards.
