  First of all, maybe we should confirm the date/location/attendees?

   

  For the date, I'm proposing 18th December. 

  Location: Fatum's place/ 7-11's place. You two will have to decide among yourselves.

  18th is fine with me too....

  either ah fat's plc or 7-11 bah... bungalow in changi is extremely far for me >.< and it's not like it'll be tat easy to get cab... erm... i dun think many would opt to stay over, anw not for me....

  now the food...

  i'm thinking of making chocolate pork chops or something like that...

  i saw this dead easy way of making a chocolate topping (not for pork chops) which involves just chocolate and mascapone cheese

  my only concern would be transport for many of those who don't drive ....... even for those who do, I'd have to check out on the parking situation too ....

  I don’t think it’s possible to get a chalet now.

  I guess it’s either at Fatum’s or 7-11’s place

  The pros of a BBQ is there is hot food too coz the food from the potluck tends to get cold.

  Or to simplify matters, I think just have a BBQ :P Potluck is just for desserts or starters (eg cold dish, salad etc)

  I'm lazy

  I feel like just baking a carrot cake and bring it down

  You know the American kind with shredded carrots and a nice rich cream cheese icing

  my friend did lovely cupcakes but aint cheap leh.. maybe i get some of those :)

  i tried many type, cookies, cupcake, scone (how to spell) at her place yesterday .. lovely..

  Don’t know what is the fascination with cupcakes also.

  I tried a lot of so called very nice and famous ones but they never tickled my fancy

  her is cupcake inside got rum-soak raisin and thingy..with carrrot style..  on top is cream cheese froze.. :)

  I don't know ...rum raisin and carrot don't sound very nice.

  So basically she is turning whole cake recipes into cupcake sizes la instead of sponge cake with decorations.

  Ok la, but I still don't like cup cakes.

  I just like a nice whole cake where you can look and slice from. Haha
