This looks different from the tunnels dug behind the falls which I went to.
Anyway it seems that there were a lot of raving maniacs who went over the falls in a barrel.
Some died, some survived, but seriously what the hell were they thinking???

So I was told by one of the tour guides.... I saw both in the ocean and upstream. Those upstream is ready to die after laying their eggs.... What a sad life eh! -

Bah! Dams will cause a lot of fishes to die out, not only Salmon
I’m so against the damming at the Amazon river but I think they will just go ahead with it
The ironical thing is that there are some fish that is going extinct in the wild but thriving in captivity because hobbyists breed them
Same thing about animals like Star and Radiated Tortoises, Australian Lungfish etc.
I agree they are almost extinct in the wild but they are actually doing well in captivity because so many breeders around.
If only Governments actually have proper legislation like making micro-chipping these CITES protected animals compulsory and having proper breeder certification like dogs, I think this can actually help curb the illegal wildlife trade and at the same time allow these animals to thrive in captivity.
I always find those reports about how extinct some of these animals are when you look at those in captivity, it’s really not that bad. I mean if they want they can actually try to tap into these resources and reintroduce the same animals back into the wild.
Reason besides illegal trade why these animals are going extinct are due to loss of natural environment and some of these animals are also more sensitive and die very easily when young.

actually, I think only the five species of pacific salmon croaks after sex ....
the atlantic one can return to the sea and come back to bonk again

I wonder when my stupid eye will recover
I was complaining to the doc about extreme dryness and how come my vision is now blurry and he said it’s normal after recovering from the infection and it’s due to the steroid eye drops… and he said it will take a few weeks before things get back to normal
I get headaches now doing my work because I’m really straining my eyes.

Oh ya Bear for the Yamazaki, I found out there is this Wine shop at the basement of Tampines 1 that carries it as well
The 18 yr one is going for $258 and the 12 yr old one is going for $138.
Ain’t too bad I think coz I got for MPB the 18 yr one from Japan DFS and after conversion it’s just slightly cheaper than $258

yeah.. the yamazaki 12 year old is $70 at the DFS..
i saw it in Parkway too... and also at Isetan in town...
i'm trying to find this next..

$70 bucks for the 12 yr thingy at Parkway? Gotcha I’ll go take a look there

Oh. Ok so the one at Tampines is $2 cheaper compared to Parkway for the 12 year old….not that it makes a huge diff
MPB said he doesn’t think he will be drinking his 18 year anytime soon coz it’s expensive.
He’s been trying to finish the vodka and rum at home so I think it be some time he will be drinking whiskey again.

I think you should really cut down on OCK food
It’s very unhealthy to eat from them so often
I don’t even think I eat from them 5 times a year!
Why don’t you just snack on an apple or celery sticks or baby carrots instead?
Also, as a friend, I adv that you go for a health check just in case because the scariest thing is to find out that your organs are coated with a layer of fat.
I know it can be scary but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

That’s an idea. At least I don’t have a stupid bottle of vodka stuck in the freezer
I’m wondering should I bake scones instead but they don’t seem to be appropriate to go with BBQ food.
I just hope MPB don’t eat up the orange jelly and cream spread I made to go with them since there is a substantial amount left over. (saw him scooping them with a spoon to eat -_-“)

I made that cream (blend of mascarpone cheese, vanilla essence, whipping cream & sugar) because clotted cream is really expensive and for them to deliver I need to spend more money -_-“ And yes orange jelly and cream is very very nice.
