talking abt flats, e condo these days are just getting smaller and smaller. Yeah, the design these days, many aren't practical.

Condos are even smaller than flats
My 4 room flat is the size of the new 5 room flats
And I still want to bitch that Simei is getting crowded these days.
KNS. Why must they build a new block of flats near my place? WHY WHY WHY

Ok lah. At least Simei is not like Tampines.
Tampines Central is like Woodstock without the booze and drugs.

Well Tampines is perpetually crowded everyday
There is no difference between a weekday and a weekend…almost
But the NTUC at Simei is ridicules. The place is so small and definitely not meant to cater for the entire estate!
Boy I hate going to NTUC especially on 4D days; you have to jostle through the 4D queue AND the crowd!

NTUC @ Tampines does have express counters too.thought there's another smaller NTUC outlet? But I guess variety is not 'up there.
Reminds me, how come NTUC small outlet still cmi w/ those old provision shops in varient of goods.

If I’m at Tampines I either go to Cold Storage or NTUC Finest
Btw when it comes to salad, Cold Storage salad quality is dunno how many times better than NTUC or NTUC Finest
It’s really a heaven & earth difference in quality and the difference in price is very small.
Fruits also need to go to Cold Storage coz NTUC and NTUC Finest quality also CMI
And NTUC Finest really dunno how to handle Belgium Endives sia… KNS everytime it’s so green. WTH

so true. i mean about the overcrowding in tampines. -
NTUC Finest is just a jumpstart to compete w/ CS de la. Quality of goods cannot compare yet price is so expensive.

Tampines if I'm not wrong has about 65,000 - 70,000 dwelling units. I mean you can see e SBS bus sv network, how dense it is.

I dunno wat really happened, but i suspect it's variety n price.It's now left 1 outlet w/ a Liberty corner at Jurong Point.

I'm residing at blk 256..
lots of new flats are coming up in simei..the HDB DBSS along simei rd, opp simei green condo..
new condo beside tropical spring along simei st 4..
and last but not least, new condo at the open space along simei st 3 (beside modena)..
