In any event, I did my part and voted in the midterm elections here last night. The whole affair was surprisingly painless: I was in and out of the polling station (in the case of our precinct, a local church) in under 10 minutes.
ooops..
are u still planning any holiday?

But, assuming you started and ended at the same location and the wind didn't change direction or intensity for the duration of the run, wouldn't it mean you had a strong tailwind pushing/helping you for half of the run?
Nopes. The wind more or less died down a few hundred meters from the turning point.
I wanna go holiday.....

There's a good chance I'll be heading to Washington, D.C. sometime late-November for a week to visit the museums of the Smithsonian Institution. The last time I was there was waaay back in '96 (if I recall correctly), and the exhibits would likely have changed since then.
Then I'll be in Japan again next year from March 21 to April 7.
What about you?

D'oh!
Might be worthwhile checking the weather forecast prior to going for a run next time.

MG
they're mulling a 2 hr fast speed rail link from KL to Singapore.
Why Singapore? Cos they realise it's not worth building it if it ends at JB. They hope e PAP would agree and set aside land for it.

Cool! I hope you have a wonderful and enjoyable time there.
What's the occasion? How long are you going to be there? Do you plan to make day trips out of Tokyo to the surrounding areas?

Wow. If that plan comes to fruition, it'll definitely give the airlines some much-needed competition for travel between Singapore and KL. As it is, even though it's only a 45 minute flight, check-in and travel time to and from both airports currently pushes total journey time above 2 hours by air.
oki, potato and eggs boiled ... cooling down.. making my mash potato soon :)

Bingo! I don't think I'll really enjoy visiting or touring an area that's been declared by local authorities as a disaster zone...

Right now Jetstar, Tiger, AirAsia is in this route le.
SQ is slowly giving the slots to SilkAir. SilkAir does 6x daily, SQ does 3x Weekdays, 1x Weekend (Total 42 + 17 = 59 trips).
