I wanna go back to Japan....This time to Nagoya, Hiroshima etc =P
Which part of Japan you are planning this time ?
You were in Bintan recently? That's news to me. Did you have a good time there?
Japan is kind of... addictive, for lack of a better term. There's so much to see and do there, and the public transporation system makes getting around to all the interesting places a breeze. Did you feel that way too after your recent trip there?
On my next trip there, I'll basically be doing the same thing I did when I was there in March this year, i.e., staying in Osaka near the Shinosaka JR station and making day (or overnight) trips to other areas on the Shinkansen. Osaka is also just a 15-minute Shinkansen ride to my favourite city in Japan, Kyoto, where I'm sure I'll be spending quite a bit of time!

Or was the flooding a consequence of your having made a secret, unannounced trip there recently?

Ha ha! I still remember the good old days when I was a kid and my family made frequent trips up to KL since all of our relatives were living there--the exchange rate back then was approximately S$1 = RM1.3 (or thereabouts). How times (and economic conditions) have changed...

Was in Bintan in July..... Yah, enjoyed myself there =)
Japan is VERY addictive. Osaka is where my HQ is and I used to travel there frequently last time. Kind of like the place very much...especially winter time =)
And yes, like you, there are many more interesting places that not been explore yet! I even got a book on where to go, what to eat and what to buy...
If I am going back to Japan, it will be in Tokyo coz I have a friend working there. She has been grumbling that I am not visiting her....

e Qantas incident is really
I don't remember having issues with them on my last flight (back in 2005) but I'd passed out quickly after getting gin and tonic on board.
I can't remember what I asked for on the Aero Mexico flight but 2 attendants answered my call 2 minutes apart. Naturally the second one looked daggers at me for the rest of the flight.
